Greyton House was started by a group of parents from within the Greyton community who were concerned about changes and uncertainty in education. Since then other families have moved to Greyton and the school has grown to a total of over 70 children from pre-school to grade 12. In every instance the parents' wish is to give their children a 'childhood to remember'. Children attending Greyton House receive an education which is recognised both nationally and internationally (HIGCSE).
Children work at their own pace and, being a small school, they receive individual attention from well qualified staff in a comfortable, highly enthusiastic yet non-competitive atmosphere. This system allows all children to achieve their personal best. Greyton House belongs to the children of today - the school aims to equip its pupils to deal with the challenges and opportunities of the present and the future. Pupils are guided to build self esteem and to develop value systems with consideration for others based on Christian values (although Greyton House is not affiliated to any church group). All programmes are implemented with thoughtfulness, understanding and love. |
