Kleinmond has grown from a holiday destination to a vibrant town. Set between the Palmiet River and Kleinmond lagoon it offers the best of fresh and saltwater acitivities. Kleinmond's water activities are endless ranging from canoeing down the the rivers, swimming in the lagoon to angling in the ocean. Harbour Road is the place to be.  There are quaint shops, an art gallery, pottery and craft and interior stores and the seafood restaurants serve fresh fish and sushi. Developers are currently constructing a new 'waterfront' but all shops are open for business.

Visit the Rooisand nature reserve a few kilometers east of Kleinmond for wild horses and birdlife, go mountain biking or hiking in the Kogelberg nature reserve, stroll along the cliff path or climb Jean's hill. Rent a mountain bike and pedal the flat streets or buy fresh veg or crafts at the market.
