Agri Mega Week strives to create a platform where producer, input supplier, service agent and public, with interest in agriculture and specifically the small grain trade, can participate interactively, do business and learn.

Agri Mega’s vision is to be an effective vehicle for sustainable agriculture through leadership and professional service delivery.

Activities at the event include demo’s, livestock competitions  and shows, Overberg Youth Show,  horse show, school programme, ladies programme, competitions, tourism tent and much more!

 
Agri Mega strives to achieve the following objectives:

• Facilitating transformation in primary agricultural

• Promoting Black Economic Empowerment in primary and secondary agriculture

• Facilitating strategies to ensure reasonable and sustainable land reform

• Facilitation relevant training and developmental programmes in agriculture

• Facilitating applicable conferences, indabas, workshops, seminars and skills development for                   producer  and employees

• Facilitating communication and information sessions to promote the use relevant                                      management practises and the latest technology

• Facilitating relevant expos, demonstrations, shows and other events promoting interaction between stakeholders and to promote image building

• Practise the trade of professional administration and services that contributes to the promotion of unity in sustainability in agriculture

• Providing promotional, marketing and media services to the agricultural sector
