 It's make-over time! The Hermanus Wildflower Festival has turned into the Flower and Eco Fair - a celebration of our environment from 17 – 20 September from 09:00 – 17:00 at the Fernkloof Nature Reserve in Hermanus.
• The flower display will be created by The Garden Company's Riaan Maritz and David Davidson, multiple gold medal winner for South Africa at the Chelsea Flower Show, who will also give talks at the event.
• Marquee make-over: The Overberg Conservation Foundation will present a 'one-planet' sustainable living exhibition showcasing what needs to be done by us all to preserve biodiversity and our special fynbos habitat.
• Amphitheatre make-over: Environmental activities and lots of fun and games for children will take place in the Fernkloof gardens.
• Hundreds of botanical specimens from the area will be displayed.
• Fernkloof Indigenous Plant Nursery will offer plants at sale prices.
• Delicious teas and lunches will be served on the lawns.
Directions:
Follow Main Road, Hermanus. Turn left up Fir Avenue just before the Voëlklip traffic circle.
