Suurbraak is a tiny rural farming community near to Swellendam. Donkey carts frequent the streets and horses, sheep and cattle graze in the gardens. The buildings were built by semi-skilled labour and their charm is palpable. There are huge oak trees lining the streets and this historical little village is thought of in the same vein as Elim and Genadendal.
